How to Help
Sponsor a Child's Education
Your donations keep Concern for the Future's scholars in school. We encourage you to sponsor a student's education. Keeping the children in top schools is the most important thing — the cornerstone of our program.
Please sponor a child. Ask your church or company to consider underwriting a child's future.

Other Ways to Help
There are other ways you can help that are just as important as financial contributions.
Church and School Partnerships
We are seeking to establish partnerships with churches, synagogs, mosques; as well as middle and high schools, colleges and university student organizations.
Ask your colleagues at work, your school, or church, synagog, or mosque to consider sponsoring a child. You will receive a photograph and biography of the student you sponsor, as well as, frequent updates on their progress. We willl provide educationalmaterials about children in Africa and set up a pen-pal exchange for schools who sponsor students
Corporate Matching Programs
Many corporations have matched giving programs. Please contact your employer's Human Resources office and ask if we meet the criteria. If we do, every donation, you and your co-workers make is matched.
Donate equipment and supplies
We need lap top computers, digital video and still cameras, and art supplies for our workshops. Our children need books, tee shirts, clothing, and shoes. Our children would love to have DVDs (movies) to watch.

Intern at our New York office
We need an intern this summer to help us run the office. We are expanding our fund-raising activities this summer. We are reaching out to middle schools, high schools, and colleges. We will be approaching churches and service organizations, corporations, and foundations.
Computer Learning Center
The Stephen Shames Foundation and its' Ugandan partner, Concern for the Future plan to create a state-of-the-art computer learning center, which will train and prepare individuals from all over East Africa, including all of Concern for the Future's scholars, in technology skills, which are essential for today's competitive global job market.
The computer center will not only imbue our scholars with marketable 21 st century skills, but will produce income for Concern for the Future.
Please help us make this dream a reality. Are you in the computer industry? Do you want to help Africa join the digital age? Contact us.
